The Arduino Pro Mini 3.3v/8mhz is a small, low-cost Arduino board that runs at 3.3V & frequency of 8MHz. This 3.3v/8mhz Mini Board designed for semi-permanent installation in objects or exhibitions. The board comes without pre-mounted headers, allowing the use of various types of connectors or direct soldering of wires.

The Arduino Pro Mini 3.3v is a good choice for projects that require a low-cost, small, and 3.3V board. It often used in conjunction with 3.3V sensors and modules. Since it is an application board it does not have in-built programmer.

The Arduino Mini 3.3 can power with a regulated 3.3V or 5V supply on the Vcc pin. There is a voltage regulator on board so it can accept voltage up to 12VDC. If you’re supplying unregulated power to the board, be sure to connect to the “RAW” pin on not VCC.

3.3V Arduino Pro Mini draws 4.5milliamps under normal conditions with nothing else connected while running the default blink sketch. This results in a run-time of around a month when being powered from a 3000mAh battery.

The Arduino Mini 3.3v has a total of 14 digital input/output pins, of which 6 can use as PWM outputs. The 6 analog inputs can use to read analog signals from sensors or other devices. The board also has an on-board resonator, a reset button, and holes for mounting pin headers. A six pin header can  connect to an FTDI cable to provide USB power and communication to the board.

The Arduino Mini 3.3v runs at a frequency of 8MHz. This means that the microcontroller on the board can execute 8 million instructions per second. The clock speed can changed by modifying the fuse settings, but this is not recommended for most users.

Features : –

The Arduino Pro Mini 3.3v has a total of 32KB of flash memory, of which 2KB is used by the bootloader. This means that there is 30KB of user-accessible memory for storing code. The board also has 2KB of SRAM and 1KB of EEPROM.

The Arduino Mini 3.3v has a number of benefits, including:

  • Low cost:
  • Small size
  • 3.3V operation
  • Flexibility
  • Durability
  • Compatible with a wide variety of sensors and modules
