The SG3524N Regulating Pulse Width Modulator is a monolithic IC that contains all the control circuitry for a regulating power supply inverter or switching regulator. SG3524N IC was designed for switching regulators of either polarity, transformer-coupled DC to DC converters, transformerless voltage doublers and polarity converters, as well as other power applications.

The SG3524N IC operates at a fixed frequency that is programmed by one timing resistor (RT) and one timing capacitor (CT). The output frequency can be adjusted from 50 kHz to 300 kHz by changing the values of RT and CT.

The SG3524N inverter circuit IC can operate with a supply voltage of 4.5 V to 18 V. The output voltage is determined by the external feedback network. The maximum output voltage is 40 V.
