The LM2576T-ADJ is a monolithic IC that provides all the active functions for a step-down (buck) switching regulator. 2576T ADJ is capable of driving a 3-A load with excellent line and load regulation. The LM2576T-ADJ is available in an adjustable output version, which allows you to set the output voltage to any value between 1.2 and 30 V.

The LM2576T-ADJ is a high-efficiency Step−Down Switching Regulator (Buck Converter) , with typical efficiency of up to 90%. LM2576T ADJ IC also features TTL shutdown capability, which allows you to turn off the regulator by applying a low logic level to the SHUTDOWN pin.

The maximum output voltage is limited by the input voltage and the internal circuitry of the LM2576T-ADJ. The maximum input voltage is 40 V, so the maximum output voltage is 37 V.

The minimum output voltage is limited by the ADJ pin voltage and the RSET resistor. The minimum ADJ pin voltage is 1.23 V, so the minimum output voltage is 1.23 V + 1.23 V = 2.46 V.
