P5 RGB LED Panel 64X32 RGB LED Matrix Panel is like mini televisions in that they have many RGB LED lights in a grid. They come in many shapes, styles, and layouts. The P5 panels on this page have a resolution of 64×32. The number 5 in P5 stands for 5mm of spacing between each light. Thus, these panels are 320mm wide by 160mm tall. By utilizing more than one P5 panel, you can daisy chain them together to make much larger panels that behave as one.

P5 RGB LED Panel 64X32 RGB LED Matrix Panel has multi-color LEDs arranged in a grid on a rectangular base. There are three LEDs per “pixel”, the colors mixing together to form a single color of light. The “5” in P5 means that pixels are spaced 5mm apart. So, in a typical 12″ x 6″ panel, there are 64 pixels across by 32 pixels down, totaling 2,048 pixels! That’s plenty of pixels for text and animations. There are also P10 panels with 10mm pixel spacing which is better for outdoor displays.

This version is the 5mm pitch 64×32 RGB LED Matrix. Please note you cannot use an Arduino UNO to drive this size, it’s way too big! Use an Arduino Mega, Raspberry Pi, BBB or other devices that can handle displaying to RGB matrices and has plenty of RAM.

This P5 RGB LED Panel 64X32 RGB LED Matrix Panel has 2048 bright RGB LEDs arranged in a 64×32 grid on the front. On the back, there are two IDC connectors (one input, one output: in theory you can chain these together) and 12 16-bit latches that allow you to drive the display with a 1:16 scan rate.
