HC-05 Bluetooth Module RF Transceiver Module HC05
HC-05 Bluetooth Module RF Transceiver Module HC05 is a very cool module which can add two-way (full-duplex) wireless functionality to your projects. You can use this module to communicate between two microcontrollers like Arduino or communicate with any device with Bluetooth functionality like a Phone or Laptop.
The HC-05 Bluetooth Module communicates with the help of USART at 9600 baud rate hence it is easy to interface with any microcontroller that supports USART.
The HC-05 Bluetooth Module can operate in two modes. One is Data mode and other is AT command mode. When the enable pin is “LOW” the HC-05 is in Data Mode.
If that pin set as “HIGH” the module is in AT command mode. HC-05 is a Bluetooth module which is designed for wireless communication. This module can be used in a master or slave configuration.
HC-05 Bluetooth Module is a one of the great example for wireless connectivity. It is used in many fields. Bluetooth consumes very small amount of energy.
Commonly one of these two wireless technology is used in Smartphone controlled robot. One is WIFI and other is Bluetooth.
The HC-05 Bluetooth Module has two operating modes, one is the Data mode in which it can send and receive data from other Bluetooth devices and the other is the AT Command mode where the default device settings can be changed.
HC-05 Bluetooth Module is symmetric, means; the same device may operate as a master and also the slave. Each BT device has a 48-bit unique device address (BD_ADDR) that is fixed.
Architecture of these modules is based on the Cambridge Silicon Radio BC417, 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Radio chip, as they are exchanging data by the waves are in range of radio frequency. Chip uses an external 8 MB flash memory.
