BALSA WOOD (2X100X1000MM)

@ expert peshawar

Balsa (Ochroma lagopus) is a species of tree from the wooly subfamily (lighter than cork), occurring in the forests of South and Central America and in the Antilles and Ceylon. The tree grows up to 15 meters, the leaves have egg-shaped heart shape, and the flowers are pollinated by bats! Depending on the location (cross-section of the trunk), the hardness varies, the closer to the center the softer. It was used as a filling or insulating material in house construction (of course in America). It was also used for the construction of gliders and aircraft.
