Stripboard Veroboard Prototyping Board 100x240mm

Stripboard Veroboard Prototyping Board 100x240mm is designed primarily for hard wiring of discrete components, typically in analogue circuits, but is equally useful where a number of common bus or signal lines are required.

Stripboard Veroboard Prototyping Board has parallel strips of copper track on one side. The tracks are 0.1″ (2.54mm) apart and there are holes every 0.1″ (2.54mm). Stripboard Veroboard Prototyping is used to make up permanent, soldered circuits. 

Veroboard is a brand of stripboard, a pre-formed circuit board material of copper strips on an insulating bonded paper board which was originated and developed in the early 1960s.

To cut up Stripboard Veroboard Prototyping, the best way is with a good Stanley-knife and a steel ruler. Place the board on a cutting mat and place the ruler where you want to cut the board.

It’s best to use a row of holes as perforations rather than trying to cut between rows. This is Solderable Breadboard. A bare PCB that is the exact size as our regular breadboard with the same connections to pins and power rails.

This board is especially useful for preserving a prototype or experiment you just created on a solderless breadboard by soldering all the pieces in place.

An electronics designer often builds the first prototype from breadboard or stripboard or perfboard and usually uses them to test circuits. They are generally called prototyping boards. Prototyping boards have holes to which you affix electronic components to build your desired circuit.
