The Arduino Nano V3 with pre solder headers is a microcontroller board, based on the ATmega328P microcontroller by Atmel. The Atmega328 comes with built-in bootloader, which makes it very easy to flash the board with your code.

Like all Arduino boards, you can program the software running on the board using a language derived from C and C++.

The easiest development environment is the Arduino IDE. The Pre Solder Headers Arduino Nano is the smallest board of the Arduino boards but has nearly the same datasheet like the Arduino Uno. Only the power jack is missing and instead of a standard USB port the Nano has a Mini-B USB plug.

Pre Solder Headers Arduino Nano V3 based on the ATmega328 microcontrollers has a small size and can be used together with model boards for solderless wiring (breadboard).

The board uses a chip CH340G as a converter UART-USB. Chip CH340G – is a budget solution. With an operating frequency in 12Mhz, yields a stable result of a data interchange.

Pre Solder Headers Arduino Nano V3 can be powered via micro-USB-port (up to 500mA). External power supply 6-9V unregulated to output VIN, or 5V external power source to a regulated output of 5V. The power supply is automatically selected with the maximum voltage value.

Pre Solder Headers Arduino Nano V3 is a surface mount breadboard embedded version with integrated USB. It is a smallest, complete, and breadboard friendly.

The Nano V3.0 is automatically sense and switch to the higher potential source of power, there is no need for the power select jumper.

It’s got a pin layout that works well with the Mini or the Basic Stamp. This new version 3.0 comes with ATMEGA328 which offer more programming and data memory space.

Pre Solder Headers Arduino Nano V3 can be powered via the Mini-B USB connection, 6-20V unregulated external power supply (pin 30), or 5V regulated external power supply (pin 27). The power source is automatically selected to the highest voltage source.

The ATmega328 has 32 KB, (also with 2 KB used for the bootloader. The ATmega328 has 2 KB of SRAM and 1 KB of EEPROM.

Programming: –

Pre Solder Headers Arduino Nano V3 can be programmed with the Arduino software (download). Select “Arduino Duemilanove or Nano w/ ATmega328” from the Tools > Board menu (according to the microcontroller on your board).

The ATmega328 on the Arduino Nano comes pre burned with a bootloader that allows you to upload new code to it without the use of an external hardware programmer. It communicates using the original STK500 protocol.

You can also bypass the bootloader and program the microcontroller through the ICSP (In-Circuit Serial Programming) header using Arduino ISP or similar.
