KY-026 IR Fire/Flame Detection Sensor Module

The KY-026 IR Fire/Flame Detection Sensor Module is a small, inexpensive, and easy-to-use sensor that can use to detect infrared light emitted by fire. IR Flame Sensor Module has two outputs: an analog output that provides a voltage signal proportional to the amount of infrared light detected, and a digital output that goes high when a flame detect. The KY-026 module also has a potentiometer that can use to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor.

IR Fire Detection Sensor Module has a 5mm infrared receiver LED, a LM393 dual differential comparator, a 3296W trimmer potentiometer, six resistors, two indicator LEDs, and 4 male header pins. The board features an analog and a digital output. The analog output provides a voltage signal proportional to the amount of infrared light detected. The digital output goes high when a flame is detected and low when no flame is detected. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted with the potentiometer.

KY-026 IR Flame detection sensor module is compatible with a wide variety of microcontrollers, including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32. It can easily interface with these microcontrollers using a few simple lines of code.

Inside the module consist of a 5mm YG1006 infra-red receiver LED, an LM393 dual differential comparator, a trimmer potentiometer, six resistors, and two indicator LEDs are used.

KY-026 Fire Detection Sensor Module can operate with an input voltage of 0-15 V DC. However, the recommended input voltage is 3.3-5.5 V DC. If you operate the module with a higher voltage, it may damage the sensor.
